See Satan. Same goes for Beelzebub, Lucifer etc.

Specifically the disposable kind which fill landfills and reek havoc on the environment. All kids know what a diaper is.

Except for children on this side of the pond who wore nappies. I'm not sure how clear the distinction between disposable and cloth would be, given my thick crayons: here's one I did earlier for a client...

Differently Abled

is 'cripple' a step too far?

Not at all christhepiss, in fact you'll find 'Cripple' already completed.

"Differently abled" would however be unacceptable.

There's a story that Stella McCartney's rift with her step mother wasn't helped when Heather, in the hope perhaps of some raprochement, agreed to model one of Stella's dresses at some music bash or fashion do. Stella's frocks had words artfully stitched into the designs, and the pink dress worn by Heather was emblazoned with the word 'Raspberry'. Heather failed to spot the rhyming slang reference at the time.

Doctor Who

The old-school treatment with the scarf to look like Tom Baker. A male in a leadership role is un-PC.

It's good to run across another fan, prepared to stretch a definition to get the Doctor admitted. You'd be surprised how many people come to this site having entered 'Dalek' or 'Cyberman' in their searches (yes, Big Brother is watching your every step, some day I'll add a list of some of the more exotic search terms).

The School Bully

Specifically, the donkeys that you might find on the beach at Weston-super-mare or any other bygone beach resort. Quite why having a ride on a beach donkey is cruel, I don't understand, but it's an idea.

The Headmaster

Have donkey rides been banned? I must've missed that story. I do know they now have a weight limit for the passengers, which is a shame: a few pints then a ride on a donkey seems like fun to me (I'm easily amused).

There's a UK charity that persuades doo-lally old biddies to bequeath the bungalow for the greater good of abused or retired donkeys. I may be wrong, but to me it seems to be a very plump retirement fund for a couple who like having a house with large grounds in the country and regular holidays to Spain. If only I'd thought of it first. Maybe it's not too late...

Special Appeal

Please send all you can to The Racing Pigeon Sanctuary(TM)©2006. These beautiful thoroughbred creatures are all too often cast aside at the end of their useful working life. At The Racing Pigeon Sanctuary we care for these loveable birds to the end of their days, providing them with adequate sky to exercise and trees and a property portfolio to rest on. £10 sponsors a pigeon for a year, or send just £50 to adopt one for yourself or in the name of a loved one. Or make a bequest. We are totally reliant on donations to assist us in our work both with the pigeons here at the Sanctuary and with our overseas holidays, erm, projects. Be as generous as you can and put a smile on a pigeon's face today. Thank you.

how about this one?

I don't see how 'dragon' would be considered politically incorrect. Unless the illustration were of a mother-in-law...

The School Bully

Another word for someone who is mute. Again, doesn't easily translate into an alphabet card.

The Headmaster

Dumb is more often used for Dullards - and the Dim and Dopey are covered by 'Dunce', or well enough anyway, until I add a new illustration for Retard or Moron or Idiot.

I take the point though that it is a politically incorrect erm for 'mute'. And sadly nigh impossible to illustrate. I'll just have to do one for Blind instead...

The term 'dustman' or 'binman' has been in common use for years, but now the term is 'refuse collector', or even, according to Wikipedia, 'sanitation engineer' or 'civil cleanliness experts'. Their appearance has changed too, from a vest concealing an ample gut and jogging bottoms to full-body neck-to-boots blue suit complete with reflective strips everywhere.

Oh, I see this has been discussed already in 'garbage man' (don't blame me, this is an Americanism)... Apologies!
